What is Kinesiology?
Feedback from gentle muscle monitoring is used to identify imbalances; energetic blockages or stresses in the body. With kinesiology, we can detect which areas of your body or aspects of your life need ‘balancing’, as well as the corrections your body would like us to use to restore balance. Kinesiology works 'holistically' by stimulating the body's natural healing responses, enabling you to get on the path to wellness and get your life back on track.

Touch for Health works with 42 muscles in the body and is based on Chinese 5 Element Acupunture Theory and contemporary western techniques. Energy pathways (meridians) in the body are worked on by gently massaging or holding points to increase or decrease the flow of energy to improve health and vitality.

Integrated Healing (I.H) is one of the most advanced forms of kinesiology currently available, combining kinesiology, life coaching and NLP to create a powerful and effective approach to healing. I.H. removes deep seated underlying causes /energetic blocks, helping you to reach your full potential.
What happens during a Kinesiology session?
A kinesiology session is referred to as a 'balance' (as we are restoring balance), and is carried out fully clothed on a couch.
Together we create a 'goal statement' for the session. Sessions are goal orientated, so we stay positive and focused on what you want in the short and long term. Working towards your goals – what it is you DO want – gives the body specific targets to aim for.
Imbalances or stresses will then show up in relation to your goal statement with gentle muscle monitoring, which will also allow us to detect appropriate corrections or solutions to restore balance (a goal can be as simple as " I am calm and relaxed", or more specific, as you wish).
Individual recommendations are given at the close of each session with simple self-help techniques or life style changes so that you can support yourself in between sessions, and beyond.
Kinesiology is a complementary therapy that works naturally and safely alongside conventional medicine.
