15 year old Simon, below, came to see me suffering with Abdominal Migraine – severe headache and feeling/being sick, a complete lack of energy and school phobia, and as a result had been off school for months, spending a lot of time sleeping.Tabitha
"Dear Tabitha, hi, this is Sarah, Simon's mum. Just wanted to drop you a quick note to tell you that he has made a full recovery.
He has completely turned his life around and is much more positive and motivated than I've ever known him to be. He went back to school in September and has only missed about three days since - once when he fell off his bike and then a couple of days with a cold at the end of this term. On both occasions he was very keen to get straight back to school as soon as possible. He joined the school rugby team and recently won a medal when his team, which started out badly, won the Bristol Year 11 championship. He has even been up on stage singing during a school karaoke competition, and recently got his first girlfriend. He has really matured, come out of his shell and is doing very well at managing his stress.
We are still working at getting his grades back up, unfortunately they suffered badly because of his long absence, but his confidence and ability to cope with his schoolwork is just so much better now.
